Official category: Playable
ANOMALITH on Steam Deck
Playable is a specific Deck category. It is not Verified, and it is not Unsupported. The report says why.
Valve’s public response returned category 2, Playable, with an interface-text warning. tuxDB repeats Valve’s status and is not an independent performance test.

Valve’s report
Endpoint: ajaxgetdeckappcompatibilityreport for app 4017880, English, checked 2026-10-29. Category 2 is Playable. The warning string is SteamDeckVerified_TestResult_InterfaceTextIsNotLegible. Passed items: default controller config fully functional, controller glyphs match the Deck, default configuration is performant.
tuxDB’s public Deck row for the same app id shows the same Playable conclusion. That is a second site reading Valve’s status, not a separate lab test. No ProtonDB performance tier was confirmed. If you need desktop GPU targets, use the requirements page.
SteamOS and Steam Machine lines
The same payload includes a SteamOS startup result marked functional, and Steam Machine items that passed controller and performance checks. Those are extra fields in Valve’s JSON. They are not a promise about battery life. No battery figure was in the response.
