ANOMALITH story setup, without the ending
The official pitch stops before the reveal. This page stops there too. If a wiki has written the last chapter, it is not copied here.
Steam and FURYU’s English site print the year as 20██. The Japanese site uses a redacted Showa year. No exact calendar year or ending is inferred from those descriptions.

What the store is willing to say
Steam sets the story in Japan, year 20██. Anomaly Zones appear without warning. Reona Minazuki, 17, looks for her friend Arisa Kato and becomes a diver for the government-backed Anomaly Zone Countermeasures Office. On the first dive, other divers die and a power wakes in her. She is described as the sole survivor, going deeper to learn what happened to Arisa, where the zones came from, and what her power is.
The Japanese official site uses the same premise under the title アノマリス. Gamerch’s genre line calls the structure a stage-based loot shooter. The loop printed on Steam is Dive, Retrieve, Return: fight anomalies, choose what to carry, and extract.
Left unsaid on purpose
The store asks what she will see when the mystery is revealed, and does not answer it. A 163.com interview with the producer says there are no multiple endings. That is one source, and it is not a plot summary. Boss names and mission titles that spoil a route are on the guide pages, marked as partial.
Questions people ask
What is an Anomaly Zone?
Steam describes spaces that appear in Japan and anomalize ordinary places, including the mall where Reona and Arisa are separated. It does not publish a map or a count of zones.
Is the story single-player only?
Yes, according to Steam, PlayStation, and Nintendo. The plot is not a co-op campaign.
